Well this one caught me by surprise. Everyday Shooter makes its PC debut today on Steam for the highly reasonable price of $8.99. Formerly a PS3 exclusive on the Playstation Network, it puts an artisitc spin on the twin stick shoot genre (Geometry Wars, Mutant Storm, Super Stardust) by mixing in wild graphics and a soundtrack created by your actions in the game. To get an idea of what the game is like I highly recommend watching this clip taken from The 1UP Show last year (of course this is the PS3 version).
UPDATE: A new video trailer has been released on Steam. It doesn’t tell you anything not mentioned in the video above, but it’s worth a mention.

Nice blog you’ve got here, picking up where the Steam Review left off and all. However, your readers probably already see the Steam News Feed, so there’s no need to re-hash so much of it (I’m thinking of almost anything with “update released” in the title and little but Valve’s words in the body). Just a thought.

Thanks for the feeback Frank.
I take your point, but our aim is to be a one-stop-shop for all forms of steam news, which will include updates. If we find that there is a lot of feedback along this line, perhaps we’ll move to a ‘weekly’ update post or something, but it’s early days yet, so we’ll see how things pan out! We’ve got some really great editorials planned too, so don’t fret!
