Codemaster’s latest racer GRID has driven onto Steam for $39.99 ($59.99 in the euro zone). I played the demo briefly on the Xbox 360 and it feels like a pretty competent racer with a great damage model and very shiny graphics. Check the video below if you don’t believe me. GRID has a metacritic score of 87.

Damn! I checked on the web outside of the Steam client, so I guess it didn’t have my location set correctly. Well I shan’t be purchasing it in a hurry then, until the price goes down a bit.
No you were originally correct Chris. When I say euro zone I mean those countries with the euro. US and UK price is $39.99.
They really need to get these price differences sorted out. The whole point of online distribution is to allow people to get games quickly and easily, and differing prices just puts a barrier in…

Woah - I tried the demo; my machine isn’t good enough for this game. It even struggled in the menus.
Where did you find a demo mate? Just looked at the steam page and there doesnt appear to be one…
